This story is continued from the second story of Warlord #59 and continues in the second story of Warlord #61.

Synopsis:
Arion recovers after being struck down by a spell delivered from Garn Daanuth, the wizard of Mu. Arion strikes back, but he quickly realizes that a magical battle could potentially destroy the Earth. He sheds his physical form and enters the astral plane. He then leads the astral form of Daanuth away from Earth to the dead world of Anuleous where their battle resumes.

While the battle continues, Lady Chain and Wyynde protect Arion's body from an attacking band of sub-men. Arion's teacher Caculha also tries to give his former pupil magical aid, but Tynan intervenes to keep the sorcerer from assisting.

The astral battle between Arion and Daanuth on Anuleous escalates. The planet itself shudders. A sphere of glowing energy then emerges from within the dormant world which surprises both mages.
