Synopsis:
Sgt. Rock is ordered to take Bloody Hill at any cost. The hill is heavily defended and Rock feels guilty about sending his men to die. When Easy falls under heavy fire, he orders the company to fall back. He then destroys the order knowing that he will face a firing squad for disobeying it.
Rock then goes up the hill alone. He befriends a scrawny dog along the way which then follows him up the hill. When the dog is nearly killed, Rock charges a Nazi gun position. He is nearly beaten, but Easy comes to his aid after they pieced together the torn up orders. Easy succeeds in taking Bloody Hill and saves Rock from the firing squad.
