Synopsis:
Johnny's squadron is called on to protect a group of B-17 bombers. They shoot down a group of enemy fighters. The enemy leader vows to get Johnny even if Johnny is the "last target". The pilot's words remind Johnny of a prophecy surrounding him. He will do battle with an enemy over water just as his father did.
On Johnny's next flight, his plane is forced down. He lands on a lake which has iced over. The enemy pilot dives at Johnny breaking the ice with his bullets. Johnny survives by shooting down the enemy plane.
