Synopsis:
Lois and Clark witness Burton Hayes have a series of accidents that nearly kill him. Clark sees that the accidents were caused by turban wearing Malays. Burton blames the accidents on an idol he is wearing. Lois offers to wear the idol to prove the superstition false.

Once she begins wearing the idol, Lois is targeted by the assassins. Superman saves her, then takes the idol himself. When the assassins strike at him, they fail. He then uncovers a radio transmitter in the idol. He then visits Hayes in the hospital and prevents his partner Keith Langwell from killing him. Langwell used the idol to lure the assassins to his partner, so that he could take his share of a recently discovered fortune.
