Synopsis:
When a gang of small-time crooks vanishes without a trace, the Justice Society investigate. The trail leads them to the lab of Dr. Felix Ergi who has experimented with objects powered by cosmic rays. The crooks stole the objects which are dangerous. The JSA splits up to track down the members of the gang.

Each Justice Society member encounters a gang member who, with the help of the cosmic object, possesses a super-power. Despite their newfound powers, each gang member is caught by a JSA member. However, when the JSAer takes possession of the cosmic object, they are teleported away.

The crooks return to Ergi's lab. The scientist reveals that he was manipulating both the gang and the JSA and now has them imprisoned. However, Black Canary is still free. She frees her teammates who once again defeat the gang. Ergi himself is destroyed when he attempts to utilize the power of all the cosmic objects at once.
