Synopsis:
A Hollywood movie called A Thief in the Night is being sabotaged by a crook called Evil Star. The studio head Fred T. Fanum calls the JSA for help. They learn that the script for the movie is being sent to the studio in installments, so they suspect that Evil Star's identity will be revealed at the end.
The team splits up to guard the studio, but Evil Star knows Hollywood better and is able to capture all 7 of the JSAers, including Green Lantern who has located the script's author. The team escapes the trap set by Evil Star, then returns to unmask him as Guy Pompton, the owner of a movie rental agency. Evil Star is at last defeated, and the movie can be completed as scheduled.
