After Aqualad's failed encounter with Ocean Master, he is left for dead. The Titans show up to rescue him. However, Hawk and Dove have struck out on their own by setting a trap for Ocean Master. During the fight Hawk is dragged underwater. Dove follows.
Hawk awakens in Ocean Master's hide-out. He and Dove are captives. Dove explains that Ocean Master is working with aliens. The brothers escape their bonds and start a fight with Ocean Master and his alien allies. The other Titans arrive to help them win the battle.
Afterwards, the Titans decide to use their powers only in special situations.
