Superman assumes the secret identities of butler William Digby (alias "Ghost-Fingers" Morgan) and disc jockey Clark King (aka Clark the "K") in this story.

Synopsis:
Clark Kent covers the testing of a new super-weapon for the Daily Planet. An accident causes his safety goggles to fall off during the test. Clark must pretend to be blinded and quit his job at the Daily Planet. Clark then assumes a new secret identity as butler William Digby.

As Digby, Superman is hired by crime boss Raffles Slyke. Superman recognizes Slyke and stays close to him in order to gain evidence. Slyke tries to frame Digby for the theft of the Raskot jewels, but Superman outsmarts his boss. Slyke is apprehended with the jewels and taken into custody by police.

Superman then flies to England where he becomes a DJ named Clark the "K". Superman helps a singing star named Super-Coolcat become a hit with fans, thwarting an attempt by crooked manager Limehouse Lew to get his own group a performance. Clark's secret identity is exposed when his fans rip his clothing to shreds exposing his Superman costume.

Abandoning yet another secret identity, Superman returns to America where he discovers that lab specimens have regained their sight after exposure to the super-weapon. Superman is then free to return to his life as Clark Kent and his job at the Daily Planet, claiming that his eyesight was similarly restored.
