Synopsis:
Professor Zackro requests that Captain Comet fill in for him conducting E.S.P. experiments. Comet is amazed when several students are able to demonstrate perfect E.S.P. during the experiment. He traces the ability to a strange radiation being aimed at them from space.

Captain Comet follows the radiation to the asteroid known as Eros. He finds several aliens who are transmitting the radiation which allows them to see what the students do. In this way the aliens are gathering intelligence for a planned invasion. When Captain Comet discovers that the aliens are unfamiliar with fire, he starts one. The hydrogen atmosphere on the asteroid ignites, ending the alien threat. Captain Comet then returns to Earth.
