Synopsis:
When Perry White returns from a vacation, his face is bandaged from a hunting accident. Lois gets suspicious that Perry might be an imposter when his behavior is odd. She and Jimmy Olsen begin gathering evidence, until Lois is convinced that the Kansas Killer is posing as Perry. When Lois announces her suspicions, no one believes her including Jimmy who helped her gather proof.

Lois is then sent to a mental institution. Lois calls Perry after deducing what really happened. Perry and Jimmy arrive at the hospital, and Lois exposes Jimmy as the imposter, Artie the Actor. Artie schemed to make Lois appear crazy, in order to prevent her from testifying against the Kansas Killer. With the scheme exposed and the imposter in custody, Lois is released so that she may testify.
