Synopsis:
When Jimmy travels to Smallville to take photographs of Superman’s hometown, he finds a small trinket near the site where Superman’s rocket crashed. When he returns to Metropolis, objects near him begin to crumble including a water tower, a lamp post, Clark’s glasses, and Perry’s wristwatch.
Jimmy is forced to leave the planet, believing himself to be a jinx. At the zoo, his bad luck continues as a lion cage crumbles, releasing the animal. Later, Jimmy is held up by a crook, but he signals Superman to help. Superman sees the trinket Jimmy picked up and realizes it came from Krypton. Jor-El put it in the rocket because it cause iron to crumble. When iron meteors came near the rocket, the trinket destroyed them. Superman shuts the device off, and Jimmy returns to normal.
