Synopsis:
Doctor Occult receives a mystical summons from a wraith. Curious, he visits the address given to him by the spirit where he meets a scientist who has been conducting psychic experiments. The scientist explains that his assistant has been trapped in the ether world. He requests help from Doctor Occult.

Once he has transported to the spirit world, the scientist reveals his evil intentions. He admits that he never had an assistance. He wants revenge because Occult helped to convict his brother of murder. Now, Doctor Occult is trapped and left to meet his doom.

When the scientist returns to his lab he discovers that Doctor Occult took a dagger from the lab with him. An important formula was hidden in the handle of the dagger, so the scientist offers to free Occult. The doctor demands to be returned to the real world first. The scientist agrees, but he plans a double-cross. Before he can finish, he is devoured by a beast from the ether world. Occult manages to return to the real world just in time to escape the beast.
