Synopsis:
Clark Kent and Lois Lane are invited aboard a millionaire’s yacht. The millionaire, Brett Rand, is an old classmate of Lois’s. Brett is enamored by Lois and proposes to her. However, Lois refuses, saving herself for Superman.
Later, Superman rescues Lori Lemaris who is caught in a fishing net. Lois meets Lori for the first time and sees that Superman still adores her. When Lois returns to the Daily Planet, she sees, using a televiewer, Superman preventing a disaster of an undersea volcano. A tremor causes a giant boulder to strike Lori’s husband Ronal, killing him. Ronal’s dying wish is for Superman to make Lori happy. Using an Atlantean science, he is transformed into a merman and begins a new life with Lori. Lois wishes them well.
With Superman out of the picture, Brett proposes to Lois again. She decides that she does not want any man and goes for a drive. She is nearly killed in a car wreck, but Superman saves her. He played a hoax on Lois so that she would marry Brett and not wait for him. Ronal never really died. Lois continues to hope that one day Superman will marry her.
