Synopsis:
Doc creates a new responsometer for Tina to remove her emotional attraction to him. The new responsometer causes Tina to be attracted to Gold instead.
The Metal Men then visit the beach and go sailing. The queen of a sentient race of floating mines called the Floating Furies sees the Metal Men and decides to capture Gold. Tina and the other Metal Men rescue him, but earn the queen's enmity. The Floating Fury petitions Neptune for power to recapture Gold and take revenge upon the Metal Men. He grants her control of all water and sea life.
The queen then attacks the Metal Men again. Iron acts to save the team, but rusts at the bottom of the ocean. Tina discovers she can now attract lightning due to a flaw in her new responsometer. She channels the lightning through herself and Gold when the Floating Fury grabs them. The lightning destroys the robots and the Floating Fury. Doc then collects the remains of Tina, Gold, and Iron. In his lab, Doc restores them to normal including Tina's original responsometer.
