Synopsis:
Travis Morgan leaves Shamballah in search of Tara who has been attacked by Y'smalla. He rescues a young girl from a strange creature. When he returns the girl to town, the people attack him. Morgan learns that DeSaad has damaged his reputation while he was impersonating him. A stonecutter named Perno breaks up the fight by explaining DeSaad's duplicity.

Morgan is then confronted by Machiste. His old friend is angry because Mariah left him for Morgan. She has now gone out on her own and is contemplating returning to Russia. Machiste declares his friendship with Morgan over and returns to Kiro.

Elsewhere Power Girl encounters the Scavenger while seeking information about her Atlantean heritage. The ship carrying her is damaged, so she decides to abandon her disguise and strike out on her own.
