Synopsis:
In this imaginary story Lex-El is the son of Jor-El and Lara on Krypton. Lara is killed by one of Jor-El's inventions. He blames Krypton itself. To gain his revenge, Jor-El destroys Krypton. He and Lex escape the planet's destruction by traveling to Earth.
When the rocket arrives it causes the Kents, who are bank robbers, to crash their car. They are killed in the crash. Their son Clark is experimented on by Dr. Markem who ensures that Clark will grow up to become a criminal mastermind.
Meanwhile, Jor-El becomes Jordan Luthor, but he does not possess super powers on Earth. Lex-El, now Lex Luthor, does gain powers and begins a career as Superboy. Clark is adopted by the Lang family and befriends Superboy. However, Jor-El's insanity now puts Smallville at risk. He turns a machine loose to destroy the town, but Lex stops it. Clark accidentally kills Jor-El then flees to begin a criminal life.
Years later, Lex moves to Metropolis. He becomes interested in a nurse, Lois Lane who is caring for a coma patient. The patient is Clark Kent. While Lex learns that his former friend is now a criminal, Dr. Markem revives Clark and turns him loose on the world before he himself dies of a heart attack.
