Comments:
This story takes before L.E.G.I.O.N. '90 #17 and after Mister Miracle #19. It is continued in part from New Gods #17 and continues in New Gods #19.

Synopsis:
Lar Gand helps a group of Thanagarians who have their space station destroyed by Yuga Khan. On Earth, Orion, Lightray, and Mister Miracle are summoned by Highfather who relates the news of Khan's awakening. Mister Miracle decides to return to his family and refuses the call for help.

Meanwhile, the Commander dispatches Monitors to bring Orion back to New Genesis. Orion resists. He then learns that another Boom Tube has opened on Earth near the residence of Victor Lanza. Dave Lincoln joins Orion on a trip to find Lanza. Necromina has raised an army of the dead and is using Lanza as bait to lead Orion into a trap. Her plan works. Orion is captured and taken by Boom Tube to Apokolips while Lanza is critically injured in the fight.
