Synopsis:
Many heroes are surprised when Manhunter sleeper agents reveal themselves. Superman, Batman, and Blue Beetle each confront a Manhunter spy. Lana Lang shocks Clark Kent in the Daily Planet newsroom. Commissioner Gordon attack Batman in his office. Blue Beetle confronts Max Fisher, but he is not a Manhunter. Overthrow, who is a Manhunter, then faces Blue Beetle.
Elsewhere, the Guardian and Zamoran travel around the world. They deliver messages to eight people in other countries notifying them that they have been selected to be part of the Millennium Project. Reactions from the individuals is mixed.
Herupa and Nadia return to America. They are met by Harbinger, who offers to help them. They tell her that her files were found by the Manhunters and used against the heroes of Earth. She is dispatched to the Manhunter homeworld to make up for her mistake.
The Guardian then returns to the Green Lantern Citadel where Tom Kalmaku is recovering. They inform him that he is the last man selected to become an immortal. At Arkham Asylum, the Floronic Man begins raving about his own visit from the Guardian.
