Comments:
This story is continued from Secret Origins #39 and continues in Animal Man #11.

Synopsis:
After saving a fox from a group of hunters, Animal Man returns home to find the Vixen waiting for him. She explains that she has been pursued by some invisible monsters. The monsters soon turn up at Buddy's house. When they attack, Animal Man is deconstructed. His entire body comes apart and he vanishes. Two aliens then appear.

Meanwhile, Dr. James Hightower visits the Psycho Pirate at Arkham Asylum.
