This story is part 4 of "The Universo Project".
This story is continued from Legion of Super-Heroes #34.
Synopsis:
Saturn Girl, Brainiac 5, Dream Girl, and Chameleon Boy are hunted by the Science Police. Believing that President Desai is actually Universo, they stage a raid to capture him only to discover that he is merely Universo's hypnotized puppet. Several other Legionnaires under Universo's control attack. Saturn Girl escapes on her own while the other fugitives make a final stand in Brainiac 5's lab.
Saturn Girl locates Marte Allon and breaks her from Universo's control. She then gathers information which leads her to Universo, alias Vid Gupta. Universo is guarded by Mon-El and Ultra Boy, but they fall to Saturn Girl's mental abilities. She then single-handedly defeats Universo and breaks his hypnotic hold over the Legion and the rest of the planet. Once order has been restored, Saturn Girl's request to return to active duty as a Legionnaire is granted.
