Synopsis:
The Black Canary is confronted by a motorcycle gang on the highway in Washington state. She handles herself well, until one of the gang runs her down with his motorcycle. They leave her in the road and steal her motorcycle.

Weeks later Green Lantern and Green Arrow are passing through the area and have an encounter with the same gang. They win the fight and recognize the Black Canary's motorcycle. After searching the area where she was last seen, the traveling heroes find her in the thrall of a cult leader named Joshua.

The Black Canary tells her friends to leave her alone. Green Arrow refuses and eventually discovers that Joshua plans to use his cult for nefarious purposes. While Green Lantern handles the rest of the cult, Green Arrow is held at gunpoint by the Black Canary. Joshua urges her to shoot him, but she resists. Joshua turns the gun on Green Arrow himself. Green Lantern stops him from shooting. Joshua fires the gun as he falls, but only succeeds in killing himself. With the cult leader dead, the Black Canary is freed from his control.
