Synopsis:
When Danny visits the local bank, Rex growls at the bank teller Mr. Neilson. The teller files a complaint, and Rex is taken to the dog pound for examination. Danny visits the teller to get him to withdraw the complaint. Danny's visit leads him to an old cabin, where he is locked inside.

Police at the pound mention Danny's disappearance near Rex. Rex escapes and tracks Danny to the cabin. He discovers a man impersonating Neilson. Rex rescues the real Neilson and Danny, then he helps defeat a ring of counterfeiters led by the imposter, Hal Hayes. The crook was passing phony money through the bank while disguised as the teller.
