Synopsis:
Rex participates in a college lecture, but runs off in the middle of class. He finds crooks exiting a secret laboratory after having stolen a new invention capable of paralyzing people. Rex follows the crooks and stops them from robbing a bank. However, the crooks elude capture after paralyzing Rex.

The police suspect the watchman of informing the crooks. After Rex regains mobility, they give the watchman false information, which he brings to the crooks. Rex follows his scent to the gang's hide-out. Police break in and arrest them. Rex activates the paralysis ray to stop the last crook from escaping.
