Comments:
This story is continued from the second story of Action Comics #296 and continues in the second story of Action Comics #298.

Synopsis:
Lesla-Lar has escaped captivity in Kandor and exchanged places with Supergirl’s friend Lena Thorul. She then releases three prisoners of the Phantom Zone, who retrieve a box of forbidden weapons from Krypton. Kru-El tests one of the weapons on Lesla-Lar, disintegrating her. Supergirl is then given a virus which causes all animals near her to be transformed into plants. The villains plan on conquering Earth, forcing Supergirl to turn to Lex Luthor for help.
