Synopsis:
Several attempts are made on Aqualad’s life by members of Captain Claw’s gang. Aqualad is scheduled to testify against the crook, so they are trying to eliminate him. While swimming Aqualad and Aquaman locate a sunken chest which promises to give super-strength to the person who opens it for twelve hours. Aqualad opens it, but giving Aquaman an idea.

Aqualad then pretends to have super-strength to scare away the crooks, but they realize the kid is faking. They strike again, and Aqualad is surprised to learn that he really did receive super powers. With the powers, Aqualad is able to defeat the gang.
