Synopsis:
Superman and Green Lantern rejoin the other heroes in space. Doctor Fate admits to the others that he can not bring them home. Harbinger teleports back to Earth, while the others are placed inside a bubble formed by Green Lantern's power ring. They then travel home the slow way.
On Earth, Blue Beetle and Mr. Miracle pilot the Sunspore deep beneath the ocean's surface. With many of Earth's heroes aboard, they target a Manhunter base deep inside the Earth. Harbinger joins them in the attack on the Manhunter stronghold. Wonder Woman destroys the robot Pan. While Booster Gold stops a Manhunter from destroying the Earth with a self-destruct device. Marcie Cooper, the new Harlequin, fights the heroes until she realizes that the heroes will win. She then slips away from the others to make her escape.
The heroes defeat the rest of the Manhunters. Booster is captured. He claims to be on the side of the heroes, but they do not believe him. The space heroes then rejoin the others, and everyone returns to the Green Lantern Citadel.
Herupa and Nadia have withered as the Chosen have grown stronger. Before the Chosen complete their transformations, the Guardian asks them to return to the world one last time. Celia spots a black car in the area and decides to check it out. Booster then grabs Xiang and flies away.
