Synopsis:
A brilliant young speaker named Rodney begins working with the mob as a criminal defense attorney. He earns the nickname Golden Voice and wins over juries. Twice he uses tricks to discredit Rip Carter's testimony against crooks.

Rip then approaches Golden Voice's girlfriend to gain evidence against the crook. Rodney kills her, then comes up with an alibi. Rip testifies in court against him. Golden Voice tries another trick, but this time Rip outwits him. The lawyer then breaks down and confesses to the murder. Sometime later he is executed in the electric chair.
