Synopsis:
When a man is struck down by a reckless driver, Superman declares war on reckless drivers. He phones the mayor, who claims to be unable to do anything about the problem, so he breaks into a radio station and announces his campaign for driving safety.
Superman busts up a used car lot which contains dangerous vehicles, he scares a drunk driver, and "haunts" some hit-and-run drivers. The police come after the Man of Steel, but they are unable to stop him. Next, Superman destroys an auto plant where unsafe cars are built, he also cracks down on police bribery, and makes roads safer. Finally, he hijacks the mayor, who is driving reckless himself, and shows the politician the victims of traffic accidents in the morgue. The mayor vows to enforce traffic laws closer.
