Synopsis:
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of a battle at Pioneer Bluffs, the town has cut itself off from the outside world for twelve hours. However seismic readings indicate an earthquake might occur. Alerted to the possible danger, Green Lantern investigates and stopped the disaster before it occurs.

When he enters the town however all the people have vanished. Green Lantern stands in the middle of the street pondering the situation, when his power ring is activated. He soon discovers the townspeople are really standing around him, but they have been sent to another dimension.

GL quickly learns that the thief, "Chum" Ames is probably behind the problem. Ames looks on from yet another dimension as Green Lantern learns more about the situation. Ames formulates a plan to destroy Green Lantern. He allows GL to follow him into a building and sets off a bomb. Green Lantern saves himself by shifting dimension again.

The two men chase each other between dimensions. Green Lantern is trapped temporarily in a dimension of macro-organisms. His progress is also halted by a yellow barrier. GL escapes after theorizing that the dimensions form a circle. He may not be able to go one way, but he is able to go the other to arrive at the same point. He puts the collar on Ames and returns the townspeople to normal.
