Synopsis:
As he leaves a Justice League meeting, the Flash is drawn through a space-warp, despite the efforts of Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and the Atom to prevent it. Finding himself on the Sahara Desert, he confronts three alien scientists of the planet Sfarl, who have for years been mysteriously teleported from one planet to another against their wills. Soon after they leave a planet, it explodes. In an effort to learn how to prevent this happening to Earth, Flash and his fellow members accompany the Sfarlans to their next destination.
The Sfarlans are transformed to resemble the inhabitants of the planets they visit, and this process is repeated on the super-heroes, so that they become crystalline beings upon reaching the planet Aralax. After overcoming an attempted invasion of this planet, the heroes are teleported to the home world of Kraad the Conqueror, the interdimensional tyrant responsible for the Sfarlans' plight. His secret weapons are powered by the telekinetic energy build-up in the teleporting scientists. He uses a de-adhesion beam to destroy the League members – except for the Atom, whose white-dwarf-star costume protects him.
Dazed and barely conscious, Atom uses Green Lantern's ring to restore his comrades, but accidentally scrambles their bodies, creating a Green Lantern/Superman, a Superman/Flash, and a Flash/Green Lantern. He restores Wonder Woman correctly before passing out. The Amazon Princess and the composite heroes invade Kraad's stronghold and defeat him, using Atom's body to plug the muzzle of the de-adhesion weapon. Superman, Flash, and Green Lantern are then restored to normal, and the Sfarlans are returned to their home planet.
