Synopsis:
Gang boss the Buzzard threatens singer Hank Hottra will an extortion racket. Hottra doesn't give in, so the crook tries to kill him. Slam and Shorty save Hottra and are hired as bodyguards.

Later the crooks strike again. This time Slam, Shorty, and Hottra are kidnapped. Slam and Shorty get away and apprehend the crooks. Then they learn that the man they were protecting was only Hottra's double. The real Hottra was safe the entire time.
