Later, the Groton Gang took over Rocky City and killed several sheriffs. When Walt came to town, he was quickly made the sheriff. He stirred up trouble with Groton. To protect his brother, Wayne dressed up like his brother and shot the outlaws. Walt got the credit. The two brothers both played lawman and had many adventures together.
