This story takes place during World War II.

Synopsis:
Lt. Dennis attends a meeting with Dr. Anabolus, a scientist who has invented a new wonder drug which will transform men into super soldiers. To test the drug, Lt. Dennis offers up his son's puppy Rex. The dog is injected with doctor's serum and is instantly transformed into a powerful dog. Moments later, a Nazi agent shoots and kills Anabolus. The doctor takes the formula with him to the grave. Rex then joins Lt. Dennis in the war effort. After the war, he will go on to have many adventures with Danny.
