Comments:
Gothic Volume One
This storyline was originally to be called Whispers. There are few details to place the storyline precisely within the timeline of Batman's career. However, it likely takes place sometime between the events of Year One and Year Two.
This story continues in Legends of the Dark Knight #7.
Synopsis:
Several connected criminals become the targets of a man calling himself Mr. Whisper. One of the crime bosses, Ottavio, thought Mr. Whisper is dead, but now believes he has returned seeking revenge. After Whisper kills several men, Ottavio and his associates use the Bat-Signal to summon Batman for help.
