Synopsis:
Aquaman had been selected to judge a swimming competition. He chooses the winner, but one of the contestants is angry that she was not judged the best. The upset loser is Dale Conroy, a wealthy heiress. She vows to prove her skills to Aquaman.

The navy asks Aquaman to help retrieve the nose cone of a rocket. While swimming after the cone, they are swiftly passed by another swimmer, Dale Conroy. They are amazed by her speed. She attempts to prove herfself better than Aquaman. First Aquaman is unable to command his fish friends, then the fish follow her. Next she is able to stay underwater for over an hour.

Everyone is amazed by the woman’s abilities. However, Aquaman stumbles across an air tank stored underwater which allowed her to breath. He soon uncovers several other expensive devices which allowed Dale to perform her feats. Dale proves herself good-hearted by not swimming through a school of fish, so Aquaman doesn’t expose her fraud. She learns her lesson and tells everyone about her false powers.
