Synopsis:
After his return to Ivytown, Ray Palmer remains stuck at a height of three feet tall. He is examined by a doctor who can find nothing physically wrong. Ray then visits his former research assistant Enrica Negrini at Ivy University. Ray pulls an all-night session in the lab and solves the problem of his size control.

In the morning, terrorists take over the school library. Ray goes into action as the Atom and defeats them. In the process, he rescues a diplomat who was attending the University under CIA protection. The Atom wants his return kept private, but the CIA leaks the news to the media.
