Synopsis:
Green Lantern tracks the yellow beam which destroyed his power battery to a neighboring space sector. When he enters the sector, his power ring begins malfunctioning due to lack of programming with the Central Power Battery on Oa no longer in existence. He lands on an barren planet, where a powerful being named Priest drags him back into space.

Priest takes Hal to a synthetic planetoid populated by short orange skinned aliens who speak in an unknown language. Green Lantern saves them from a group of attacking robots. However, one of the aliens is killed. The alien known as Priest then explains that he brought Hal to this sector to stop a war.
