Synopsis:
Checkmate Knight Winston O'Donnell saves the life of a mousy clerk working for Travini Imports in Venice, Italy. The import company serves as a front for Checkmate, and the killers were sent by crime lord Don Rosseli. Using some fake artwork allegedly stolen during World War II, O'Donnell manages to get a personal meeting with Rosseli to access information on his smuggling ring. However, the clerk is killed and replaced by an assassin who kills Rosseli before Checkmate can successfully shut down the smuggling pipeline.
