Synopsis:
Sandman begins an investigation of series of strange deaths in which the flesh of the victims' face is eaten away. He attributes the deaths to a rare gas. He also discovers that the gas is being used inside glass cases containing orchids. Suspicious, the Sandman follows Pedro Nogades the horticulturist growing the orchid. He discovers a nest of spies and uncovers their plot to conceal photographs of secret military defenses inside the orchids. The gas was used to prevent anyone from accidentally discovering the secret. Sandman together with army man Bill Howard smash the spy operation and apprehend Nogades.
