Comments:
Although the details of Luthor's file compiled on Maggie Sawyer are not explicitly stated in this story, the story subtext clearly demonstrates that Luthor found out Maggie is a lesbian.
Synopsis:
Lex Luthor invites Maggie Sawyer to his office. He shows her a file containing personal details about her life and attempts to blackmail the policewoman. During the meeting Luthor slams his hand on his desk and rushes out of the office in intense pain. After an examination by Dr. Kelley, it is revealed that the ring Luthor wears has given him Kryptonite poisoning, and he will likely lose his hand.
Meanwhile, during Luthor's hasty exit, Maggie had a chance to swipe Luthor's evidence. She chose not to take it. Instead she plans to face any consequences directly and continue her fight to bring down Luthor.
