Synopsis:
Hawkman is shaken by the loss of his wife through a vortex in the sky. Stewart Frazier and Whitney Nichols try to calm him. When he hears the howl of a ghost, he takes flight to find it. He follows the masked ghost to the wreckage of an alien space ship. Using the technology on board he is able to restore the ghost to the human form of Frank Delmore. The former ghost then kills himself.
Meanwhile Hawkwoman and the Gentleman Ghost are the prisoners of a brain entity in a spirit dimension. Lorraine Frazier has made a bargain with the entity to gain revenge on the man who killed her. When the brain falls asleep, the Gentleman Ghost is able to release Hawkwoman. They run away, but are unable to escape the spirit world. Hawkwoman's connection to Hawkman could be their only means of escape, but he is injured while saving people from a hurricane.
