Synopsis:
The Warlord and Jennifer Morgan arrive in the age of wizard kings and put a stop to the fight between Machiste and Rostov. Mariah and Rostov then exchange stories of the recent adventures. Mariah tells her former love that she is no longer interested. She has fallen in love with Machiste.
Jennifer Morgan then constructs a plan to combat the Evil One. They lure the wizard out of his lair and attempt to steal the source of his power, the Book of the Dead. The Evil One returns and imprisons the eight heroes who have aligned against him.
When the moon rises, Rostov transforms into a wolf and breaks free. He engages the Evil One and breaks his hold over the others. They then grab the book and destroy it. Without the book, the Evil One reverts to his natural goblin-like form and flees.
