Synopsis:
The Hellcats are assigned a rescue mission. Two scientists who discovered a new nerve gas were captured by the Japanese. The Hellcats break into the enemy stockade only to learn that the scientists were moved out of the camp aboard a prison ship. Lt. Hunter leads his men in pursuit of the ship. They overtake it and rescue the prisoners.

However, the enemy is still against them. The Hellcats are forced to land the ship on a small island. They call for help, then take refuge in a cave. The Japanese attack. The Hellcats fight them off until reinforcements arrive. Once the island is secure, the scientists thank Hunter and are escorted home.
