Comments:
Little Sure Shot makes a reference to Clark Kent and Superman in this story. Given that Sgt. Rock and Easy Company exist in the same universe as Superman, they should not be aware of his secret identity. Therefore this dialogue is a continuity error and should be disregarded.
Synopsis:
Easy Company is joined by Duncan, the hero of Baker Company. Duncan was the only member of his unit to survive the D-Day invasion. He also led a patrol in which he was the sole survivor. Rock leads Duncan and the rest of Easy Company into a small town. Duncan wants to look out for just himself, but Sgt. Rock tells him that he has to look out for his fellow soldiers, and they will look out for him.
Duncan is assigned to the town bell tower. A short time later, he spots enemy troops approaching and warns Easy. Duncan then draws the enemy fire while Zack sets up his bazooka to neutralize the enemy tanks. When the Nazi advance is turned back, Easy finds the bell tower destroyed. However, Duncan has survived with the help of his unit.
