He was adopted by the couple who found him. When he grew to manhood, the child became the hero named Regor.

Like Superman, Regor takes a job as a reporter where he meets Loria Road his new co-worker. A criminal known as Bantor trains his men to become strong like Regor. Using technology he and is men defeat Regor. The hero is forced to flee in his old rocket ship and returns to Earth where he meets Superman.

The Man of Steel offers to help. The two heroes return to Uuz. Superman poses as Regor. By working together, they are able to defeat Bantor and also protect Regor's secret identity from Loria. With the villain defeated, Superman returns to Earth. Regor wonders how Superman would have dealt with Loria, but the Man of Steel has problems of his own with Lois Lane.
