Synopsis:
The Challengers escape from the prison of the Sunset Lords in the distant future. While Swamp Thing holds off an army, Rocky, Ace, and June work to destroy the equipment which threatens the 20th century. The timely arrival of Lucas Lawspeaker and his Sky-Riders turns the battle in the Challengers favor. Seeing that they are losing, the Sunset Lords prepare to destroy the city and their foes. Deadman, in the possession of Rip Hunter's body, stops them, bringing the battle to an end. The time travelers, including Rip and his team, return to their own time.
Meanwhile, in the 20th century, Red returns to Challengers Mountain in time to save Prof who is embattled by monsters sent from the future. When these monsters are defeated, Red and Prof call on the Justice League and other heroes to stop the creatures around the world.
