This story continues in Warlord #64.

Synopsis:
The Warlord and Rostov stop at Kaambuka on their way to visit Jennifer Morgan. Travis is reunited with Ashir and Shakira who has remained in feline form since Morgan's departure. Ashir does not know that the cat is Shakira.

Kaambuka is being visited by the Kaash'ban, a tribal people with abilities to communicate with animals. During the night, one of the Kaash'ban enters Rostov's room and lures him into the forest. The Warlord and Shakira follow. They witness the Kaash'ban surround Rostov. He begins to glow, then disappears completely.
