Comments:
This story does not specify which Plastic Man appears here. The first Plastic Man originated on Earth-2 and emmigrated to Earth-X. Plastic Man #7 establishes that the original Plas has aged and now has a son that was briefly active on Earth-1. There is also a Plastic Man that is native to Earth-1. This story occurs after the son of the original Plas became inactive. Therefore, it shall be assumed that the Plastic Man in this story is the Plastic Man native to Earth-1, making it his first appearance. All subsequent appearances of Plastic Man shall also be considered to be the native Earth-1 Plas.
Synopsis:
Batman is offered five million dollars for charity by Ruby Ryder to find her fiance who has gone missing. Batman tracks Kyle Morgan to South America and brings him back to face Ruby. She kills him and frames Batman for the crime. Batman escapes from authorities. He then hunts down Ruby while her paid assassins target him. An mysterious man protects Batman who succeeds in bringing Ruby in to face her crimes.
Just before Ruby is about to be executed, Batman gets her a stay of execution. He proves that Morgan is not dead. Morgan is actually Plastic Man. He had assumed a new identity to start a new life and a relationship with Ruby. When he discovered Ruby's cruel side, Kyle left. The murder charge is dropped, and Ruby walks free, while Plastic Man considers his future.
