Comments:
This story takes place chronologically after the Justice League's battle with the Doomsters in Justice League of America #79. The Flash learns about the Justice League satellite for the first time.
Synopsis:
Hawkman shows off the new teleportation device to the Flash which can transport Justice League members to their satellite headquarters. As the two heroes activate the transporter, an alien which has escaped from S.T.A.R. Labs enters the teleportation chamber. When the trio arrive on the satellite, their bodies have been jumbled. The three beings, each ruled by the alien intelligence, then battle six members of the Justice League already on the satellite. The alien prevails and begin constructing engines which will propel the satellite farther into space.
The rest of the team revives. Aquaman's telepathy allows him to learn that the alien is called a Dharlu. The team is able to drive the aliens back into the transporter and restore Flash and Hawkman to normal. However, in finally defeating the alien, they imprison it inside the satellite computer where it will continue to live with a lowered metabolic rate.
