Synopsis:
Tex responds to a request for help from Miss Abelard. She claims to be the daughter of a government agent and the target of spies. Tex is hit from behind and taken to a hotel. When he recovers, another woman and a doctor try to convince Tex that he was drunk and came to the hotel himself. Tex suspects treachery and finds Miss Abelard held captive, disguised as one of the doctor's patients. Tex rescues her and learns that she is really a government agent.
